2. EU AI Act Transparency Notice — Article 50, Regulation (EU) 2024/1689

You are interacting with an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system.

In accordance with Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689), which entered into force on 2 August 2026, MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd. hereby discloses the following:

  • The Early-Detector.ai Widget and Service constitute an AI system as defined under Article 3(1) of the EU AI Act.

  • You are interacting with an automated AI system, not a human being. No human clinician or healthcare professional is present or monitoring your individual session in real time.

  • The health assessment output generated by the Service is produced entirely by an AI system based on your inputs. It does not constitute human medical opinion.

  • The Service does not generate synthetic images, audio, video, or deepfake content of any kind. No outputs of this Service constitute AI-generated or AI-manipulated synthetic media within the meaning of Article 50(2) of the EU AI Act.

  • The health assessment report generated at the conclusion of your session is an AI-generated document. It is clearly labelled as such and must not be presented to any third party as a document authored or approved by a human clinician.

  • Human oversight is maintained at the level of the clinical knowledge base, which is periodically reviewed and updated by qualified medical professionals employed or engaged by MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd.

3. EU AI Act — Risk Classification

MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd. has assessed the Early-Detector.ai system against the risk classification framework of the EU AI Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689).

The Service is currently classified and operated as a limited-risk AI system under the Act, on the basis that:

(a) It is positioned and deployed exclusively for educational and informational purposes, and not as a medical device within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) or Regulation (EU) 2017/746 (IVDR) pending completion of CE marking procedures (see Section 9 below);

(b) It does not make autonomous clinical decisions and always directs users to consult qualified healthcare professionals;

(c) It incorporates a deterministic, rule-based Bayesian clinical logic engine operating within constrained, physician-reviewed pathways, reducing the risk of unpredictable or hallucinated outputs.

MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd. is actively monitoring the regulatory classification landscape and will update this assessment as applicable guidance from the European AI Office and competent national authorities is published. The full compliance deadline for high-risk AI systems under the EU AI Act is 2 August 2027.

4. Privacy by Design — No Personal Data Collected

The Early-Detector.ai Widget and Service have been designed from inception on a privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default basis, in accordance with Article 25 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Article 25 of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Specifically:

  • The Service does not collect, store, process, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) during a standard assessment session.

  • No name, email address, date of birth, National Insurance number, NHS number, IP address (in identifiable form), or any other personal data is requested or retained as part of the symptom assessment process.

  • No user account or registration is required to use the Service.

  • No cookies, tracking pixels, advertising scripts, or third-party analytics trackers are deployed within the Widget.

  • The health assessment report (PDF) generated at the end of your session is created locally within your browser session and is not transmitted to or stored on MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd. servers.

  • Sessions are fully anonymous by design. MEDoctor TeleHealth Ltd. cannot identify, re-identify, or contact any individual user who has completed an assessment.

This architecture means the Service operates outside the scope of data controller obligations under GDPR and UK GDPR with respect to individual user health assessment sessions, as no personal data processing takes place.
